ADX Pro Tip – Drum Reduction Tool
Are you hearing drums in your Vocal Isolation? Do the drums sound hollow in your Music track? We have a solution for that…
You can use the Drum Reduction tool to attenuate percussive instruments that may be present in your vocal isolation. This conservative process will reduce drum sounds in your vocal track and add them to your music track.
How To:
1. Choose the Drumset icon from the Post-Processing options at the bottom of the ADX TRAX Process screen.
2. Choose which separation to apply Drum Reduction to from the “Track” menu.
3. Click “Process”, choose a name for your results, and after a few seconds, your new separation will populate the track display screen.
