Audionamix’s New Partnership with Joachim Garraud

We are thrilled to announce our latest partnership with French and US based Artist Joachim Garraud!

From his early education at the Classical Music Conservatory of Nantes in France to collaborating with electronic music heavyweights like David Guetta, French DJ Joachim Garraud has leveraged a diverse range of musical experience over his 25-year career. His writing, producing and remixing credits include work with a variety of international artists, including David Bowie, Beyoncé and Moby. Though sampling and remixing have been a central part of Garraud’s creative process, he’s long sought a modern software that can easily extract specific musical elements from a piece of music to create a new, inventive track. It turns out he has finally found the answer with XTRAX STEMS, which allows him to bolster his creative process by streamlining his workflow in the studio and on stage.

Here are Joachim’s thoughts on XTRAX STEMS, in his own words: “XTRAX STEMS really is a revolution for music producers; I’ve been looking for this kind of tool for the past 25 years. For the first time, producers can easily create high quality stems, without needing decades of experience or anything other than the software and their laptop.  Sampling from vinyl, tapes or other stereo formats meant I had to use 100 percent of the song and figure out how to isolate the parts I wanted to use.  Now, for the first time, I can go deep into the mix. XTRAX STEMS allows me to explore a wider variety of music and grab new samples I never could have worked with before.”

Joachim has let us know how much he appreciates our dedication to creating a software solution optimized for modern DJs, producers and remix artists. Since we first released XTRAX STEMS last December, he has collaborated with our teams based both in Paris and Los Angeles.  He has already become an important contributor in terms of his product feedback, as we continue to improve upon our software and work on new products in development.

Joachim tours regularly and plays more than 50 events per year, including recent shows in Brazil, France and the U.S. His upcoming performance schedule includes an appearance at LA Nuit des Sables Blancs festival in France on Saturday June 30. For more information, visit his website.
