Audionamix is seeking a very motivated software engineer to maintain, develop and evolve the company’s software. Your first focus will be on the front-facing and e-commerce web site and the back-end server technology. Depending on your tastes and abilities, you will then be lead to contribute to the audio processing technology and the client-side software. You will join and work closely with a young and dynamic R&D team in one of the nicest areas of Paris, in a casual and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on WordPress-based and Woo-commerce web site and functions
- Work on Cloud Server running on Amazon EC2
- Work on our proprietary APIs and audio process libraries
- Work on our Macintosh and Windows client software
- Propose improvements in functions and tooling
- Participate in API and architecture design
Profile
- Generalist software engineer with good knowledge of several programming languages, preferably including Python
- Taste and ability for lifelong learning
- Experience or desire to learn web development using WordPress
- Familiarity with audio/DSP programming
- Strong problem solving skills
- Awareness of performance and optimisation
- Team spirit but able to work in full autonomy
- Curiosity and taste for learning and self improvement
Required Skills
- Working proficiency of object-oriented design and programming in Python
- Working proficiency with a compiled language, preferably Swift or C++
- Web, Cocoa, Cocoa Touch, Android, or Windows software development
- Familiarity with the web standard (HTML5, ECMAScript, CSS 3)
- Fluent English, working French language a plus
- Sensibility to human-interface design, accessibility, responsive design
- Working experience with the Git revision system
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Amazon EC2 cloud platform
- Experience with the Django back end framework
- Experience with the Woo-Commerce suite of WordPress plugins
- Swift programming language, especially on the server, for example with Kitura
- Designing, implementing and consuming REST based web services with JSON data
- Experience with Matlab
- Familiarity with DSP audio processing
- GPU Programming (CUDA, OpenCL)
